These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Bark Scheduler ("Bark Scheduler," "we," "us"), a scheduling, payments, and website platform for dog training schools. By creating an account, using any part of the platform, or booking a class through a school's Bark Scheduler storefront, you agree to these Terms.
Bark Scheduler serves two kinds of users, and these Terms apply to both, in different ways:
The actual training/boarding/rental service is a contract between you and the School, not with Bark Scheduler. We provide the software the School uses to schedule, bill, and communicate — we aren't a party to a School's class policies, cancellation rules, refunds for missed sessions, or the training itself. Direct those questions to the School.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your password confidential. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
A School's account gives certain team members (admins, trainers) access scoped to that School only — Schools on Bark Scheduler don't see each other's customers, classes, or data.
Schools subscribe to Bark Scheduler on a recurring monthly or annual plan, billed and processed through Stripe. New Schools get a 14-day free trial; you won't be charged until it ends. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time from your account's billing settings — Stripe's customer portal handles proration and cancellation.
If a payment fails and isn't resolved, your School's admin access may be locked until billing is current. This doesn't affect data you've already stored, and reactivating billing restores full access.
When you book and pay for a class, private lesson, or room rental, your payment is processed by Stripe and goes to the School's own connected Stripe account — Bark Scheduler facilitates the transaction but the School is the merchant of record. We don't store your full card number; Stripe handles that directly. Refund and cancellation policies for a specific booking are set by the School, not by us.
You agree not to:
A School may optionally connect third-party services to its account — a CRM (Nutshell or Zoho CRM) to sync customer/booking data, or Zapier to connect other tools. These are opt-in per School; connecting one is the School's choice and the School is responsible for how it configures and uses that connection. See our Privacy Policy for what data flows where.
Bark Scheduler and its software, design, and branding are owned by us. A School retains ownership of its own content (class descriptions, branding, pet/customer data it collects) — using Bark Scheduler doesn't transfer ownership of that content to us; we process it on the School's behalf to run the platform.
The platform is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bark Scheduler isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including disputes between a School and its Customers over class delivery, cancellation, or refunds.
You can stop using Bark Scheduler at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, has unresolved billing issues, or poses a security risk to the platform or other users.
We may update these Terms as the platform changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
